We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our Commercial Team in Malaysia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and growing strong external customer relationships, driving business growth and ensuring world-class work.
About the Role:
- Translate customer needs into business requirements, coordinate with project teams on required deliverables, and proactively manage customer expectations.
- Participate actively in sales calls and bid reviews, demonstrating excellent sales and closing skills.
- Develop and manage internal relationships, earning the respect of colleagues at all levels across the business ensuring a cohesive internal structure.
- Work collaboratively with both cross-functional teams and Channel Partners on opportunities/accounts and sales support teams to win key opportunities.
- Provide primary post-sales general and/or technical support to direct customers and channel partners, ensuring growth of business in assigned territories.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Biomedical Science or other Science disciplines.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of field experience in Medical related sales experience. IVD experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, strong presentation skills, both externally to prospective clients and internally to upper management.
- Ability to prioritize work in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel (40% travel, overnight, within territory or locations).
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Desirable Skills:
- Key Account Management or Strategic Account Management experience.
- Conduct Product Presentation to customers.
- Project Management Experience for Instrument Implementation.
