Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for the projects.
  • Coordinate resources, tasks, and activities to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, planners, production, and buyers to ensure effective communication, coordination, and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project team members.
  • Work closely with engineering teams on project and product requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering on project or product qualification.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project timelines.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance team to define testing and quality assurance to ensure they meet required performance, functionality, and quality standards.
  • Identify potential risks during projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Generate regular reports and updates management, highlighting project status, milestones achieved, and potential issues or risks.
  • Actively seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
  • Identify areas for improvement and optimization, and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience in new product introduction of electro-mechanical products.
  • Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent computer skills - CAD, word processing, and spreadsheets.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively interface within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Experienced in modern manufacturing principles and techniques.
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally, on a periodic basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience in GDP and GMP requirements and preferably ISO 13485 requirements.
  • Experience in project planning and familiarity with Microsoft Project.

Education:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or a related scientific field is required.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

This position primarily works in an office environment but will spend a fair amount of time in a production environment. Must be able to travel on a periodic basis both domestically and internationally. The ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver's license is required. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand or sit for extended periods and require being able to lift/carry up to 50 Lbs.
