SENIORITY LEVEL: Mid-Senior Management Level

FUNCTION: ESCOE Compliance QA Team

SALARY RANGE: Competitive salary + excellent benefits + market leading bonus

LOCATION: Bandar Sunway, Selangor, Malaysia

ROLE OBJECTIVES

This role collaborates closely with the ESCOE leadership team to ensure Quality assurance standards are met and run QA program to ensure compliance requirements are met at expected levels

Reports to: QA Lead SOx Compliance

Reporting Level: Individual Contributor / Manage Contractors

Geographic Scope: Global

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Manage & run the quality assurance strategy & program for ESCOE ensuring that expected standards are met
  • In coordination with the 3rd party teams, provide insightful analysis of areas of non-compliance optimally without rework
  • Ensure SOx controls are operating as expected & propose improvement plans
  • Develop & roll out a proactive QA process on control operations within EsCoE
  • Supervise 3rd party support teams ensuring compliance to required standards & policies
  • Champion domain specific initiatives across workstreams
  • SPOC for control owners / system SMEs for any control related activities
  • Monitor overall health of specific domains & flag issues
  • Lead remediation activities for specific domains & provide support for ad hoc activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the Control landscape
  • Undertake incident reviews and analysis, including root cause analysis
  • Support projects with ESCOE involvement
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with management
  • Project management and internal reporting
  • Delivery of training to required parties on a need basis

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Degree educated with relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CISA, ITIL, CGEIT or CISSP)
  • 5-8 years IT risk and controls experience in a global FMCG or similar operating corporate environment
  • Experience of IT internal controls in a SOx environment
  • Engagement with senior stakeholders & external parties
  • Reviewing core IT processes and assessing governance models
  • Description of technical IT/SAP situations into business scenarios for senior management
  • Knowledge of SAP GRC is a plus
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to summarize management information into key messages
