Our client in Melaka is a leading semiconductor manufacturer. Due to rapid expansion, they are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

- ** IATF 16949 Compliance**: Ensure that all quality management processes and systems align with the requirements of the IATF 16949 automotive standard.
- ** Quality Management System**: Develop, implement, and maintain a robust quality management system that covers all aspects of semiconductor manufacturing, from design to delivery.
- ** Team Leadership**: Lead and manage a team of quality engineers and technicians, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure the team's effectiveness and development.
- ** Supplier Quality**: Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain strong quality relationships, conduct supplier audits, and drive improvements in supplier quality performance.
- ** Process Improvement**: Continuously monitor and analyze manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- ** Root Cause Analysis**: Lead root cause analysis activities for quality issues, implement effective corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution of problems.
- ** Quality Audits**: Conduct internal and external audits to verify compliance with quality standards and facilitate continuous improvement.
- ** Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate quality documentation, prepare regular quality reports, and communicate quality performance metrics to senior management.
- ** Customer Liaison**: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality-related inquiries, feedback, and concerns, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- ** Regulatory Compliance**: Stay up-to-date with relevant quality and regulatory requirements, ensuring the company's continued compliance with all applicable standards.

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) designation is highly desirable.
- Extensive experience in quality assurance within semiconductor manufacturing, with a strong understanding of the IATF 16949 standard.
- Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Proficiency in quality management tools and software.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
