Market Analysis:
Analyze competition and local trends to identify growth opportunities.
Analyze sales figures, product performance, customer preferences and regional variations.
Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis.
Inventory Management:
Responsible for managing stock movement and replenishment at each sales counter to maintain optimal stock levels.
Monitor stock situation and immediately rectify any over or under stock situations.
Communication and Coordination:
Collaborating with the Accounts team on payment issues.
Coordinating with the Operations team to ensure merchandising directions are followed.
Monitoring stock movement, controlling costs, and adjusting pricing and promotions to optimize inventory according to company needs.
Executing special assignments as requested by Management from time to time.
Job Requirements- Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's in supply chain management / business administration / Marketing, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in merchandising/purchasing in retail fashion industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, and excellent time-management skills.
- Fluent in Chinese (speak and write). Able to communicate in English and Malay.
- Willingness to travel for business, both locally and overseas.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Bukit Mertajam, Penang.
