POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a company has overall responsibility for the strategic planning, implementation, management, and running of all the finance activities of a company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk and governance as well as negotiations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with senior managers to efficiently develop budget proposals, provide access to project finance information, and ensure contract/grant compliance and reporting.
Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement.
Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives.
Oversee HR operations by coordinating with external service providers (e.g.: payroll, benefits, recruitment) and internal staff responsible for other aspects of HR.
Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for earnings calls, the management team, and the rest of the company.
Manage finance personnel and oversee financial IT systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory entities (e.g.: Financial Accounting Standards Board, Internal Revenue Service, state attorneys general).
Ensure full transparency and administrative compliance with Listing Requirements, Accounting Standards, and other statutory directives.
Responsible for internal control and driving compliance to company policies, and compliance with Bursa Listing Requirements.
Control and provide input into decisions relating to investment proposals and a project that involves fundraising.
Coordinate boards of Directors meetings and Board Paper preparations
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, lawyers, bankers, property valuers, and other consultants. Coordinated effectively and efficiently with these external resources to achieve the desired outcome of projects.
Prepared the Group's financial forecast and cash flow projections. Designed equity /debt funding strategies to raise funds for development projects and arranging banking facilities.
To perform any assignment assigned by a superior or management from time to time.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's, master's degree in accounting, Business accounting, or finance or equivalent.
Minimum of at least 10 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
International finance experience or MIA Certificate/members.
Candidates with professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or other relevant certifications are an added advantage.
Ability to manage expectations.
Multitasking and time management
Honesty and strong values.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Fluent in English and Malay.
Able to travel.
Willing to work in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.
