If you are looking to grow in an exciting career filled with opportunities and potential, we are seeking a professional to join our team as Associate, Actuarial (Financial Condition Management).

The Role:
  • Analyze valuation and financial results (profits / surplus arising, reserves and capital requirements).
  • Prepare statistical reports required by BNM, LIAM and internal parties.
  • Perform testing on valuation data from policy administration system.
  • Prepare reports required by PIDM.
  • Prepare & analyze solvency results (SG RBC2) required by MAS
  • Prepare quantitative response to BNM for the proposed enhancement to the design of the capital adequacy framework for licensed insurers.
  • Prepare & analyze solvency results for IAIS ICS computations.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
  • Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practice.
  • Other responsibilities entailed
The Person:
  • Possessed a recognized Tertiary in Statistics / Maths / Actuarial Studies Professional
  • Minimum 2 years actuarial related experience
  • Passed some actuarial exams in Faculty of Actuaries, Scotland / Institute of Actuaries, England / Institute of Actuaries, Australia / Society of Actuaries, US.
  • Professional actuarial standards and code of conduct
  • Good communication skills - written and verbal
  • Prophet - Skills in product modelling & projection
  • Fresh graduate can be considered but with good results in accountancy.
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
  • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
