If you are looking to grow in an exciting career filled with opportunities and potential, we are seeking a professional to join our team as Assistant Manager, Actuarial - FCM (Actuarial Modelling).

The Role:
  • Maintain, modify and enhance the Actuarial Model in Prophet Professional and Prophet Enterprise for reporting and capital frameworks, including RBC and IFRS17.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of the results produced by Actuarial Modelling.
  • Comply with internal model governance and validation policies. This includes reviewing procedures to maintain model integrity and appropriate model documentation.
  • Explore areas for enhancement to raise the standard of current modelling process. This includes standardising coding structures and improving model efficiency.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing ("UAT") on IFRS17-related changes, Actuarial Modelling, valuation data and reporting processes.
  • Participate in projects related to Actuarial Modelling, including product development and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical support to Actuarial Model users.
  • Perform experience analyses and involve in setting the best estimate assumptions as part of the Actuarial Control Cycle.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
  • Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practice.
  • Other responsibilities entailed.
The Person:
  • Degree holder in Actuarial Science and with good progress in Actuarial exams.
  • Ideally minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Actuarial positions.
  • Good attention to detail and able to complete tasks efficiently and independently.
  • Experienced with Actuarial Modelling using Prophet Professional.
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
  • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
