They are in search of an Assistant Manager in Risk Management to join their team. The ideal candidate should possess 3 to 5 years of experience in risk management or governance, particularly within the FMCG sector. The Risk Management Assistant Manager will have a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks throughout the organization, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and protecting the company's assets and reputation.

About the Job:

  • Risk Identification and Assessment:
    • Conduct risk assessments to pinpoint potential risks and vulnerabilities within the organization.
    • Analyze data to assess the probability and impact of identified risks.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize risks based on severity and potential impact on business objectives.
  • Risk Mitigation and Control:
    • Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies and controls to reduce the impact of identified risks.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of current controls and suggest improvements when necessary.
    • Provide guidance to business units on implementing best risk management practices and procedures.
  • Compliance and Governance:
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards pertaining to risk management.
    • Stay updated on regulatory changes and standards and evaluate their potential implications on the organization.
    • Assist in creating and implementing policies, procedures, and frameworks to enhance governance and risk management practices.
  • Reporting and Communication:
    • Prepare and present risk reports and findings to senior management and key stakeholders.
    • Communicate risk management policies, procedures, and initiatives to relevant stakeholders to ensure understanding and compliance.
    • Promote a culture of risk awareness and transparency across the organization through training and awareness programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in risk management or governance, particularly in the FMCG industry.
  • Solid understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and frameworks.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Consideration of a risk management certification (e.g., CRM, PRM) is a bonus.
