I am seeking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with a background in MEP to oversee and manage large-scale industrial projects valued at RM500 million and above.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of project management experience within engineering and construction, preferably in the semiconductor industry.This role requires exceptional leadership skills, the ability to coordinate and organize a team of at least 100 staff members and the capacity to efficiently communicate and collaborate with clients, consultants and contractors. about the job Lead and oversee all aspects of industrial projects, focusing on MEP systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets and quality standards;Organize, coordinate and motivate a team of at least 100 staff members, including managers, engineers, supervisors and support staff, to ensure efficient project execution;Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships, addressing concerns and providing regular updates to ensure client satisfaction;Collaborate closely with project consultants, architects, engineers and industry experts, to ensure project requirements are met and design specifications are followed;Oversee and manage contractors, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, safety regulations and quality standards;Identify potential risks and challenges, develop mitigation strategies and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions;Monitor project budgets, track expenses and implement cost control measures to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints;Implement and maintain quality assurance processes, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and compliance with industry regulations;Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety awareness and adherence to best practices on-site;Prepare regular progress reports, financial reports and project documentation for stakeholders, providing accurate and timely updates on project status, milestones and key performance indicators. requirements Degree in Mechanical/ HVAC/ Mechatronics/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent;Professional certifications such as PMP or equivalent are highly desirable;At least 15 years working experience in project management within engineering and construction, with a focus on MEP systems for industrial projects;Experience in the semiconductor industry is advantageous:Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects valued at RM500 million and above;Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team;Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities;Able to prioritize and work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
