As a Property & Casualty Consultant in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), you will oversee a range of projects such as reserve valuation, pricing, predictive analytics, RBC, IFRS 17, and mergers and acquisitions for our P&C clients in South East Asia.

You will review analyses, collaborate with other team members, and ensure timely project delivery. Using WTW's top-notch actuarial software and methods, you will develop tailored solutions for clients. Besides project execution, your responsibilities will include client communication, project management, and business development tasks.

The Role

  • Lead project teams, manage project scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards
  • Act as the main point of contact with clients, managing their expectations
  • Exceed client expectations by delivering successful projects
  • Join forces with a diverse consulting team to analyze issues and create value-added solutions
  • Establish strong relationships with clients through effective communication and efficient project execution
  • Engage in business development initiatives, contributing to proposals and developing go-to-market strategies
  • Assist in drafting project plans and budgets involving multiple workstreams
  • Support sales and marketing efforts through presentations and pitches
  • Foster internal relationships and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Show proficiency in dealing with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Deliver high-quality work while adhering to excellence standards and seek process improvements proactively
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the insurance industry in South East Asia

The Requirements

  • Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative fields
  • 5-10 years of experience in general insurance, with some consulting or regional exposure
  • Progress in actuarial exams from recognized International Actuarial Bodies
  • Expertise in IFRS 17, reserving, pricing, and/or M&A
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations and markets in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and/or Indonesia
  • Familiarity with WTW's software is a bonus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Track record of managing multiple projects successfully, delivering quality work on time and within budget
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Effective time management, handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to think strategically and understand the broader context of one's work
