Project Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for overseeing all engineering and technical aspects of our projects, ensuring accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage utility matrices for mechanical systems, including water, drain, HVAC, PCHW, CDA, exhaust, and gases, in collaboration with designers, IE, manufacturing, and facilities teams.
  • Coordinate projects with consultants and contractors to ensure timely completion within budget and meet quality standards.
  • Create and refine blueprint designs using CAD software, incorporating feedback from end-users and other engineers.
  • Maintain as-built drawings and ensure compliance with applicable codes, practices, and QA/QC policies.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor assigned engineering projects, ensuring effective resource allocation and project progress.
  • Interact with manufacturing teams to understand their needs and requirements, representing their interests in the field.
  • Provide regular project status updates and collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Assign tasks and mentor project team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Review engineering deliverables, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Oversee contractors to maintain and sustain new infrastructure at project sites.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of design and visualization software, such as AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Knowledge of mechanical safety rules, procedures, and standards, as well as mechanical designs, including pumps, HVAC systems, piping, and functional testing.
  • Experience with reliability testing and analysis, asset management, and familiarity with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Strong project management and supervision skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
