MNC Company, a leading player in the Electronics/Molding industry, is seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join their team in Senai, Johor.

Job Summary

The Product Manager will be responsible for driving the development and launch of new products, as well as managing existing product lines to maximize profitability and market share.

Key Responsibilities
  • Familiarize yourself with the connector requirements in storage, server, and CPU sockets.
  • Conduct market analysis, including competitive activity and maintain market intelligence on respective product lines, with support from the market intelligence team and regular interaction with the sales team.
  • Gather and prioritize customer requirements on products interfacing with sales teams.
  • Identify the need for product extensions/modifications and prepare required ARs.
  • Define positioning of product line in the market as well as Go-To-Market strategy and prioritization amongst products to optimize overall gross margin of the product line.
  • Coordinate new product launches working closely with sales and plant product managers to keep TTR as short as possible.
  • Prepare promotion material and drive marketing actions to support the sales with help from the Marcom team.
  • Design pricing rules and lead regular reviews of their application; modifying them to maximize profitability.
  • Identify new business opportunities and coordinate their Go-To-Market working closely with sales.
  • Review and challenge sales targets on the product line as part of the budget reviews.
  • Review and challenge cost, lead time, and quality targets quarterly with the site production manager, operations, and planning teams.
  • Be involved in the relationship management with strategic customers/partners.
  • Approve specific pricing decisions as part of the pricing escalation process.
Requirements
  • Business/marketing related experience gained from the electronics/technology/connector related industry.
  • Passionate about technology.
  • Strategic, analytical, international mindset.
