SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Maxeon is seeking a high-energy, customer-focused Product Manager as a critical member of the Digital Engagement team.
This role will be responsible for guiding and communicating the definition, vision, strategy, and implementation of Maxeon’s Digital Engagement tools and platform by deeply understanding its stakeholders. Collaborates closely with them to help achieve their desired outcomes while ensuring the long-term success of the product for the benefit of the entire organization.
Listen, observe, and empathize with Maxeon’s resellers and internal stakeholder’s needs, aspirations, concerns and frustrations as it pertains to the tools and integrated technologies. Collaboratively define problems and ideate in problem solving. Through research and development, experimentation, prototyping, and testing, ensure new features and capabilities are easy to use and solve business problems effectively.
Understand how internal and external users interact with the tools and the value they gain from it. Identify and document product fixes, modifications, and new features that are requested or observed as needed or wanted.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to help define and encourage best practices across business and system work-flow processes. Establish cadence for regular stakeholder discovery meetings.
Continuous learning for all aspects of and around the tools in its current implementation, history and unrealized potential. Understand the difference between configuration-based solutions and customization-based solutions and the implications of each.
Define areas of focus, proactively manage priorities and the feature backlog along with appropriate user acceptance criteria and ensure the team is solving the right problems at the correct time. Work with digital leadership to ensure product priorities align with organizational priorities.
Actively listen, ask questions, facilitate team communication, and plan appropriate testing to reduce product risk and protect the team and organization.
Work closely with relevant internal and external stakeholder teams to prepare for product launches and new releases.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the successful implementation of Maxeon’s Digital Engagement platforms and tools related solutions across global markets.
Lead discovery workshops to elicit requirements, construct development backlog and/or prototypes, and develop requirement documentations and/or release notes based on story refinement with the Channel, Marketing, Customer Operations teams.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gain holistic understanding of requirements, thereafter perform business process modeling, gap analysis and impact / risk assessments to form solution recommendations.
Actively manage and participate in the development (configurations, customizations, integrations) and testing of solutions, and provide clarifications to technical and business teams where necessary.
Work with users on training and adoption.
Keep up to date on platform releases and new features, industry trends and innovations to provide informed, strategic and relevant recommendations, ensuring continuous improvement of the solutions.
Complies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules and regulations
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
8+ years of product experience with a tech software or greentech services company, preferably working on apps and/or CRM and/or LMS
**Great with data**: you can work with data and turn data into actionable insights.
Experience of building, maintaining and owning roadmaps
Education such as a Bachelor’s degree; MBA or a degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, business, finance, economics or equivalent experience
Being an ecosystems thinker, being able to conceptually connect dots between interdependent models
Being a self-starter, thriving in a team environment and accepting constructive criticism as part of continuous improvement in the design quality.
Obsessed with understanding the needs of the users of your services
