Our reputable MNC Client is looking for Operational Financial Reporting Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur
About the role:
- Responsible for Hospitality management and financial reporting
- Formulate and review accounting processes/policies throughout the Company to ensure accounting and financial reports accurately reflect the conditions of the business and provide reliable information for control and management purposes.
- Direct preparation of budgets review budget proposals and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification.
- Provide management with timely reviews of organizations financial status and progress in its various activities and programs.
- Ensure business continuity and regulatory responsibility as well as adherence to all laws statutes and regulations of Malaysia
- Streamline and recommend improvements to the existing internal controls and accounting practices
- Coordinate monitor and to ensure continuous ISO certification for the Finance Department.
- Handle special/adhoc projects assigned from time to time.
- Working closely with the tax department to comply with all tax requirements and ensure timely tax submissions.
Key Requirements:
- A good degree in Accounting or related professional qualifications.
- Member of professional body (E.g. MIA ICAEW ACCA MACPA CPA ICAA).
- Minimum 6 years accounting experience and 1 year experience at managerial level.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Meticulous highly organized and strong leadership qualities.
- Good interpersonal analytical and presentation skills.
- Experience in the industry is an advantage.
- Experience in ISO certification is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel Powerpoint Words)
- Proficient in SAP is an advantage
