about the role

this position involves collaborating with business stakeholders to address their data accessibility challenges and advocating for the utilization of data to facilitate data-driven decision-making. The responsibilities also include designing and overseeing the development of data pipelines that are precise, streamlined, and adhere to data standards and best practices in data engineering

about the job

work with the Data Engineering Team Lead to provide solutions that address project requirements.ensure production processes, data feeds, pipelines function correctly as required by the business.understand Data Compliance requirements and ensure data pipelines and models are adhering to the requirements.work with the Operations team to ensure appropriate level of detail is provided for releases and adhere to change control processes.support the team (Dev and Ops) when required. knowledge, skills and experience expertise of 5+ years in T-SQL.proficient in constructing data pipelines, encompassing both inbound/outbound feeds and data transformation.proficient in data modeling, particularly Data Warehouse modeling.competent in Power BI and modeling techniques.exposure to or experience with cloud-based (Azure) data environments.
good to have
hands-on experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.familiarity with Azure Data Factory.experience or demonstrated understanding of GDPR regulations.familiarity with SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
