Description

Job Responsibilities

Administrative Duties
- Maintain and update Client Tracker as needed.
- Establish Transfer Pricing ("TP") files when required.
- Generate invoices if necessary.
- Organize proper filing of documents upon completion of TP assignments.
- Keep directors/managers informed of client matters by documenting conversations and circulating them to the engagement team. Direct client emails to the engagement team.
- Coordinate document dispatch.
- Familiarize yourself with standard TP assignment procedures, including document filing and saving on the server.

TP Compliance and Advisory Tasks
- Draft proposals and complete client acceptance forms.
- Prepare kick-off meeting slides and interview questionnaires for Functions, Assets & Risk ("FAR") Analysis.
- Participate in interviews, documenting information provided verbally.
- Conduct comparable searches and assist in obtaining financial statements.
- Draft and review Transfer Pricing Documentation (TPD) and benchmarking reports, conducting necessary research.
- Provide TP advice, conducting relevant research.
- Manage and ensure internal and client-set deadlines are met.
- Address issues with the engagement team.
- Address review points raised by Managing Consultants/Directors and discuss further if needed.
- Ensure all review points are addressed and document important information for filing.
- Ensure completeness and orderliness of deliverables sent to clients for review.

Training
- Attend all training sessions and adequately prepare.
- Thoroughly revise training materials and enhance knowledge by reading up on relevant subjects.

Profile

Minimum bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CIA).
- At least 2-3 years of applicable work experience.
- Proficient understanding and knowledge of:
i)Transfer pricing provisions outlined in the Income Tax Act 1967.
ii)Income Tax (Transfer Pricing) Rules 2023.
iii)Transfer pricing guidelines specific to Malaysia.
iv)OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines.
v)Current global transfer pricing trends and developments.
vi)Insights from the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) and associated transfer pricing matters.
