As a Quality Control Microbiology Laboratory Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. You will be responsible for performing various tasks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Equipment Qualification: Prepare and execute equipment qualification protocols, and summarize reports to ensure equipment is calibrated and validated.
- Document Preparation: Prepare initial documents, such as SLIA and URS, and review qualification documents, including IQ, OQ, and PQ, for new equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is in a calibrated and validated state, and that status is clearly indicated on the equipment.
- Reporting and Communication: Report any issues to superiors or Engineering/Instrumentation and Automation, and liaise with vendors and SCM for external calibration services and PM services.
- Quality Control: Perform spore population assays for Biological Indicators, incubate and release results, and record and update test results according to approved procedures.
- Training and Development: Conduct training on procedures related to Quality Assurance, Specifications, SOPs, and EOPs, and maintain employee personnel records according to Good Documentation Practice.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities are performed according to cGMP guidelines, EHS policies, Good Documentation Practice, and Best Laboratory Practice.
- Environmental Monitoring: Assist in environmental monitoring at required sampling points, and assist in media QC checks.
- Equipment Qualification: Assist in equipment qualification in the Quality Control Microbiology Laboratory whenever required.
- Study Activities: Involve in study activities requiring microbiological analysis, and assist in decontamination of waste prior to disposal.
