Adcote Matrix International School (AMIS) is an established international school, located in Seremban, Malaysia. The school is approximately 45 minutes away from the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. We offer a broad and innovative curriculum from Early Years to IGCSE, based on a combination of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), Cambridge International Curriculum and the National Curriculum for England and Wales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Developing and Implementing school policies - Oversee the development and implementation of academic policies, procedures, and guidelines that are aligned with the school's mission and objectives.

· Being an academic advisor - Provide leadership and support to the academic faculty to ensure the high-quality delivery of the curriculum.

· Serving as a member of the school's leadership team - Participate in decision-making and strategic planning.

· Researching New Resources and Techniques – Continuously explore innovative resources and teaching techniques to enhance the quality of education provided by the School.

· Monitoring and Reporting on Teacher Performance -Regularly access and report on the performance of teachers to ensure academic rigor and student achievement.

· Providing Continuing Professional Development - Collaborate with the Principal and other school leaders to develop and implement training programs to enhance the professional competencies of teachers.

· Promoting campus's culture - Foster a culture of collaboration, respect, and innovation within the academic department and across the school community.

· Advice on Education Manpower – Participate in the interview and hiring process for school personnel, ensuring a qualified and capable workforce. Requirements:

· A Master's Degree in Education or a related field.

· A minimum of 5 years of experience in an academic leadership role in an international school setting.

· Experience with A-Level curriculum development and assessment.

· Strong organizational and management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

· Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices.
