This role involves delivering high-quality lectures, developing engaging curricula, conducting research, and building industry connections to enhance the academic experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures, workshops, and seminars in Fashion Design and Fashion Media-related topics.
  • Develop, update, and review course materials to ensure alignment with industry trends and MQA academic standards.
  • Conduct research in Fashion Design, Fashion Media, or related fields, and contribute to scholarly publications, presentations, and conferences.
  • Stay current with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance teaching methods and course content.
  • Evaluate and assess student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations.
  • Perform administrative functions related to the assigned subjects (e.g., student attendance, invigilation, etc.).
  • Handle extra-curricular activities and promotion/marketing events of the programme.
  • Assist in the development of departmental policies, procedures, and goals.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Media, Visual Arts or other relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Fashion Design, Fashion Media, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in the fashion or media industry would be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of fashion design principles, media production techniques, and stay current on industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proven track record of publications or creative projects would be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in 3D CLO, Vstitcher, Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software, and digital media platforms would be an added advantage.
