Main Accountabilities:

  1. Support plant operations in identifying plant performance issues and develop solutions
  2. Carry out plant capacity and productivity studies
  3. Complete development trials to improve the process operation
  4. Identify opportunities and develop solutions for optimization, in quality, yield, efficiency, profitability, customer service or compliance improvements
  5. Lead new grade and raw material introduction to the facility
  6. Support plant troubleshooting and problem root cause investigation
  7. Develop process improvement proposals and projects
  8. Support the plant with SHE and process safety assessments
  9. Support delivery on minor modification projects, ensuring they delivered safely within time, to budget and to the required quality
  10. Support the development of conceptual designs with respect to process, technology and key equipment working with internal and external specialists
  11. Support the development of Process basis of design and concepts, ensure compliance with local and international standards
  12. Test and prepare documentation for plant operating trials and modification commissioning to demonstrate the plant performance
  13. Carry out plant capacity and productivity studies as well as supporting process improvement activities
  14. Ensures all engineering work meets the required company standards and statutory compliance

Expected Deliverable:

  • Process Optimization
  • Root Cause Problems Solving (RCPS) Reports
  • Management of Change (MOC) Assessments
  • Main Plant Trials Plans, recipe validation and Main Plant Trials Reports
  • Project management
