Accounts Payable Accountant Job Description:

  • Provide Accounts Payable transaction processing support to deliver Accounts Payable services in accordance with established processes, work procedures, SOX requirements and local company legal and statutory requirements.
  • Able to liaise with internal and external customers on issues with the utmost professionalism.
  • Able to support and perform Month End Close activities.
  • Proactively able to bring in ideas for continuous improvement to promote efficiencies.
  • Ensure that timelines and quality meet the agreed service levels and targets.
  • Ad hoc tasks as required by Team Lead or Manager.
  • Participate in process improvement projects or exercises.
  • Able to perform business partnering while upholding compliance, quality, professional and reliable financial services.
