Candidates are required to handle tasks such as account reconciliations, financial report preparation, and supporting audits, while also providing technical expertise to resolve complex accounting issues.

Description

Ensures all the financial accounting activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and standards in a timely and accurate manner.

Actively participate in internal and external audits and verify the accuracy of information.

Provide technical expertise in Record to Report process, effectively resolving escalations and complex queries.

Review Financial Accounting reports, reconciliation, variance analysis, etc.

Develop required schedules, coordinate and compiling supporting documentation as needed for internal and external audit.

Maintain and build a relationship with internal and external stakeholders and any other third parties.

Furnish tax information as required for the yearly tax computation and estimate tax payable.

Involve in the asset creation and updating process; edit settlement rules between WBS and definitive asset.

Provide support to the BU for the asset tagging process. * Maintain and implement the Asset capitalisation policy and procedure.

Launch the monthly closing steps for asset module. * Participation in the project management covering master data creation and capitalisation date.

To assume the role of CTA and Fixed Assets Accounting according to the business role defined in the Financial Target Operating Model (FTOM).

Profile

Possess a recognized degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field, or hold professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA.
- Have 1-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in a Shared Services Centre is a plus.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of appropriate accounting practices for Record to Report transactions and activities.
- Exhibit strong command of English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in SAP, OneStream, and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Exhibit a pleasant personality, and be organized and meticulous.
- Possess strong team management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Have excellent commercial knowledge of the business area and local financial environment.
- Show strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures, functions, and borders.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and managing tight deadlines.
