An RTR Intercompany Accountant manages and reconciles financial transactions between affiliated companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Client Details

A globally reconigsed shared service centre

Description

Handle intercompany transactions, including the issuance and recording of billing, debit notes, credit notes, and invoices.
- Execute month-end and year-end closing and reporting tasks, such as intercompany confirmations, reconciliations, and income/expense accruals.
- Provide audit support by addressing queries and requests related to intercompany transactions.
- Ensure all intercompany transactions are processed in line with agreed procedures and timelines, and comply with applicable accounting standards.
- Identify and escalate any gaps to enhance daily operations and improve SLA for month-end and year-end closing and reporting activities.
- Support the SSC's goal of achieving 100% paperless operations by redesigning controls, practices, and processes.
- Assist the Manager with process-improvement projects and contribute to their success.
- Handle any additional ad-hoc assignments as needed.

Profile

Degree in Accounting or Finance with CA qualification.
- Over 5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles.
- At least 2 years of experience working at a public accounting firm (candidates from Big 4 firms are highly preferred).
- Preferred knowledge of SAP.
