About Our Client

Our client, a well-established firm with extensive experience spanning over 30 years in the leisure and hospitality sector, is actively seeking a versatile and driven Procurement Manager to join their team.

Job Description
  • Developing Procurement Strategies: Formulate and execute procurement strategies to optimize purchasing processes and minimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor performance to ensure timely delivery and quality materials/services.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities, conduct market research, and implement cost-effective procurement policies and procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a procurement team, overseeing their work, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and company standards. Assess and mitigate procurement-related risks.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports, analyze data, and provide insights to senior management to support decision-making processes.
The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in business/supply chain management, procurement, or any other field.
  • Min 6 years of experience in procurement with a track record of success in a managerial/leadership.
  • Expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to interact with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, market research, and using insights to make informed procurement decisions. Experience with procurement software or systems could be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to procurement, risk assessment, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Willing to travel for business purposes.
