Finance Director

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to join a global hospitality group, supporting their expansion into Malaysia.

The group has a global footprint with luxury properties across Europe, Asia, and Africa, and is now opening a new luxury resort in Malaysia.

About the Role
  • Lead and guide resorts Financial Controllers in achieving financial objectives.
  • Manage and assess internal control systems in conjunction with the Internal Audit Team.
  • Develop and maintain accounting systems and reporting in line with Hotel Management.
  • Analyze monthly financial reports, provide variance explanations, and implement action plans.
  • Maintain standard accounting charts and reporting.
  • Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk and review future strategies.
  • Build market intelligence capabilities and identify areas for improvement to performance and business results.
Requirements
  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA are advantageous.
  • Ideal candidate has a wealth of experience operating within the Hospitality industry.
  • Fluency in Malay and/or Bahasa is preferred.
