Senior Consultant - Business Analyst (Digital Hub)

Established in 2003, Digital Hub seeks to add value by transforming IT support functions to bring higher returns to Sunway Group's businesses. As a centre of excellence, Digital Hub provides world-class support services to most IT projects within the Sunway Group, and delivers value through the standardization, consolidation and optimization of IT resources within the Group.

IT units within Sunway Group that have been consolidated into Digital Hub include Construction, Building Materials, Trading & Manufacturing, Risk Management, Credit Leasing and Corporate Functions such as Human Resources, Finance, and Procurement, amongst others.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of business needs.
  2. Analyze and model existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  3. Perform analysis, plan and provide solution for the application according to requirements.
  4. Work closely with IT and development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  5. Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including process maps, user stories, and functional specifications.
  6. Assist in the development and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  7. Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve business analysis processes.
  9. Single point of contact for Business Units to explore on new opportunities and enhancements.
  10. Advise and lead delivery teams on solution design (conceptual and technical).
  11. Advise Business Units on opportunities to upgrade system to meet user changes and the Group's needs.
  12. Work with software vendors on all product updates, upgrades and problems.
  13. To treat customers' information and material as private & confidential and shall not at any time during or after the services, for any reason whatsoever disclose or permit to disclose to any person, or otherwise make use of or permit to be made use of any information and material relating to the customers' technology, technical process, business affairs or finances.
  14. Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  1. At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
  2. Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Applicants must be willing to work in Bandar Sunway.
  4. Proactive and able to work with minimum supervision.
  5. Experience in QA testing will be an added advantage.
  6. Full-Time position.
