Our client operates within the travel and hospitality industry. To support their rapid growth, they are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Head of Operations.

Responsibilities:

Talent and Culture:

  • Foster a high-performance culture by aligning business and individual goals effectively.
  • Establish strong internal communication channels and promote collaboration across different functions.
  • Mentor and empower a skilled workforce, ensuring they meet strategic business requirements and enhance productivity.
  • Supervise key operational areas such as Lounge/Hotel Operations, Culinary, F&B, Facilities Management, and Quality Assurance.
  • Manage revenue and costs effectively, making decisions to improve business results.
  • Contribute as a member of the Country/Regional Executive Committee, providing input into strategic decisions.

Operational Excellence:

  • Implement best practices to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define organizational objectives and support talent development efforts.
  • Identify and implement performance indicators across different business areas.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, driving continuous enhancements.
  • Utilize technology to boost operational efficiencies and business outcomes.

Revenue Growth:

  • Establish departmental goals and execute commercial strategies.
  • Drive revenue as per budget across all areas and optimize manpower expenses.
  • Develop annual business plans and budgets in coordination with department heads.
  • Conduct regular reviews to achieve positive outcomes and collaborate with finance teams for cost management.
  • Create plans for underperforming units to enhance profitability and coach teams on cost management.

Business Development:

  • Work with stakeholders on contract management and lease negotiations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Contribute to expansion plans and propose growth-oriented concepts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years in senior management within Travel, Airline, or Hospitality sector.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, and proficiency in other key languages.
