  • Financial Leadership & Oversight:Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and development opportunities.Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard financial assets and prevent fraud.Manage financial risk and implement mitigation strategies.
Financial Analysis & Planning:Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Prepare financial forecasts and budgets, aligning with the company's strategic objectives.Conduct cost-benefit analysis for new projects and initiatives.Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.Tax Compliance & Planning:Ensure compliance with local, national, and international tax regulations.Optimize tax liabilities through effective tax planning strategies.Manage tax audits and assessments.Treasury Management:Oversee cash flow management, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.Manage foreign exchange risk and implement hedging strategies.Establish and maintain banking relationships.Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Profile

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or related professional qualification. Those with Master Degree will have added advantage;
  • Minimum 8 years related experience in similar field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Candidate with experience holding financial controller / management role will have an added advantage;
  • Experienced in liaising with bankers on funding requirements & project accounting;
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen;
  • Candidate possesses sound knowledge of manufacturing financial operations will have an added advantage;
  • Excellent leadership skills and able to motivate and develops others;
  • Aggressive, visionary and willing to take calculated risk for dynamic business growth;
  • Attentive to details, alert and capable of identifying business growth & cost saving opportunity as well as process improvement alternative;
  • Strong understanding of latest accounting standard;
  • Strong reporting and organizational skills.
