As a Structural Engineer at Arup, you will play a key role in providing consulting engineering services to clients in Malaysia. Your expertise will be essential in undertaking structural design for major projects, producing drawings and reports in line with structural specifications, and collaborating with other engineers to deliver exceptional results.

The Opportunity

  • Design and develop structural solutions for a range of projects, including low and high-rise buildings, data centers, and other complex structures.
  • Prepare and review drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with structural specifications.
  • Participate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination to implement project BIM execution plans.
  • Collaborate with structural technicians to produce Revit models and coordinate work with engineers from other disciplines.
  • Produce project-related correspondence and reports, and liaise directly with clients and other professionals with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering in Building and Data Center projects.
  • Proven track record of working on diverse projects, including low and high-rise PPVC, pre-stressed, and timber structures.
  • Proficient or experienced in Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper, and programming skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • Able to demonstrate strong design ability and engineering skills and knowledge.
