Summary

To support our business growth and ensure the effectiveness of our internal audit functions.

Responsibilities

Internal Audit:

  1. Assist to undertake internal audits to ensure the Group meets its financial, operational, and compliance effectiveness and efficiency.
  2. Report on control deficiencies of processes and make recommendations to mitigate risk and add value, which includes identifying opportunities for refinement.
  3. Engage in remediation of identified issues through follow-up.

Policy and Procedure Review:

  1. Assist in the maintenance and review of policies and procedures, including ensuring they are up to date with all legislation and best practices.
  2. Support the development of an assurance planning reporting process.

Sustainability Integration:

  1. Integrate sustainability content and messaging for internal and external audiences.
  2. Communicate with a variety of stakeholders across the company.

Others:

  1. Undertake other ad-hoc tasks when necessary.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. 1-2 years of audit experience in an audit firm or Internal Audit Department in a listed company with exposure to the property development and construction sector.
  3. Experience in finance and auditing.
  4. Experience in Audit Reports and Financial Statements.
  5. Strong analytical skills.
  6. Knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST).
  7. Excellent written and spoken English skills. Fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  8. Relevant skills that would be beneficial include experience with risk management, compliance, internal control, and data analysis.
  9. Ability to work with minimum supervision, enthusiastic personality, good organizational skills.
  10. Strong attention to detail, efficiency, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  11. Self-motivated with an appetite to learn, integrity, and professional ethics.
