What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  2. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
  3. Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation
  4. Coordinate the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support the decision-making process
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies
  6. Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business initiatives

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  2. Qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience
  3. Proven track record in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis within a professional services or corporate environment
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights
  5. Strong command of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices
  6. Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  8. Experience in managing and developing a team of finance professionals
