In the Finance Manager role, you'd be responsible for overseeing the work of the finance team, with the support of Finance Executives and to assist with the preparation of management accounts and month end processes.

What you will do:

  • Ensure smooth month end closing, timely payments and accurate reporting.
  • Preparation of consolidated P&L, Cashflow and Balance Sheet.
  • Preparation of cash flow statement (monthly)
  • Preparation of management accounts with the assistance of finance executives.
  • Preparation of annual budget and forecasts.
  • Maintenance of key control accounts and intercompany balances
  • Preparation of annual statutory accounts for company and subsidiaries
  • Year end audit preparation and support during financial auditing of all the company accounts
  • Payroll Preparation/Supervision
  • Review monthly reports of all junior team members
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required
  • Back up resource for members of the finance team when absent
  • Team leading responsibility for finance team on all aspects of the accounting function, including the managing and delegation of daily workload, resolution of any issues, provision of training and coaching where necessary

What you will need:

  • Proven work experience (at least 4 years) in accounting/ finance function or audit, startup experience is a plus
  • Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and basic accounting knowledge
  • Competency in MS Office and Xero accounting software a plus
  • SST knowledge a plus
  • Self-motivated and a team player
  • Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in accounting or has completed a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
