Key Responsibilities
  1. Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Management: Develop, implement, and track GRC metrics to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
  2. Audits: Conduct internal and compliance audits, identify gaps, and provide actionable recommendations to improve processes.
  3. Advisory Services: Provide advisory support to portfolio companies on governance, risk management, and compliance practices to enhance operations.
  4. Policy Development: Assist in creating and implementing policies such as PIP, AMLA, and IT controls, ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations.
  5. Training and Awareness: Conduct compliance training sessions and develop materials to improve awareness and reduce non-compliance incidents.
  6. Investigation Support: Collaborate on investigations related to governance issues or internal control breaches.
  7. Monitor Compliance Programs: Track compliance performance and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
The Successful Applicant
  1. Strong Knowledge in Governance and Risk: Solid understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  2. Audit and Risk Experience: Proven background in conducting audits and performing risk assessments.
  3. Industry Experience: Experience in a similar role, with a focus on governance and compliance.
  4. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess complex situations and provide effective solutions.
  5. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for managing relationships and delivering training.
  6. Multitasking Ability: Capable of handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  7. Relevant Qualifications: A degree in a related field, with additional certifications in risk management or auditing a plus.
  8. Professional Experience: At least 6 years of experience in compliance, internal audit, or governance-related roles.
