Position: Global IT Infrastructure Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining our IT infrastructure, the Infrastructure manager will ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems. This role involves collaborating with key strategic vendors and our internal IT teams to align infrastructure solutions with business goals and addressing complex technical challenges. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and be willing to work with a "Hands-on" approach.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivery of our scalable and secure IT infrastructure environment, including firewalls, SASSE, cloud, and on-premises systems.
  • Oversee and manage vendors and internal teams working on Azure, AXS, and GCP Cloud platforms.
  • Administer and optimise Microsoft Intune, PDQ, Meraki, and CATO for effective user, device, and network management.
  • Ensure system reliability and performance through proactive monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting with internal and external teams.
  • Manage and optimise the use of existing cybersecurity solutions to protect IT infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and align infrastructure strategies with business objectives.
  • Oversee networking components, VPN solutions, and Secure Access Service Edge platforms, such as CATO.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation processes using DevOps tools.
  • Communicate with vendors to manage relationships, negotiate contracts, and address any service or support issues.
  • Support and maintain Windows and Linux systems, resolving issues as they arise.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and other stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
  • Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures for compliance and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity.

PROFILE

Our ideal candidate will have the following profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing infrastructure environments, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Active Directory.
  • Strong knowledge of networking principles, DNS, routing, Firewall policies, troubleshooting, and security.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Intune / AD group policies.
  • Proficiency in SASSE platforms (CATO).
  • Proficiency in packaging deployments and scripts in PDQ.
  • Proficiency in Meraki Firewall and configuration / management.
  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or DevOps are preferred.
  • Experience in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Go).
  • Good to proficient English communication skills for effective interaction with team members, vendors, and stakeholders.

Added Advantage:

  • Familiarity with enterprise-level security frameworks and best practices.
  • Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes and frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud migration and hybrid cloud solutions.
