Responsibilities:

Cost analysis

  1. Analyze and evaluate costs associated with raw materials, production processes, packaging, and distribution to identify areas for cost reduction improvement opportunities.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost optimization initiatives, such as process improvements, waste reduction, supplier negotiations, and alternative sourcing strategies.

Pricing strategy

  1. Collaborate with the Sales teams to determine appropriate pricing strategies considering costs, market dynamics, competitive factor, and profit margins.
  2. Compute costing for new products and review current product costing monthly based on raw material prices, manufacturing processes, labor costs, and other relevant factors.

ERP costing system management

  1. Maintain and review costing system monthly to ensure accuracy. Ensure the costing system is up-to-date and aligned with standard cost.

Whistleblower role

  1. Generate monthly reports on cost variances, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs), organize monthly meeting with relevant stakeholders to highlight & address potential variances.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  • At least 2-4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position preferably with manufacturing industry..
  • Knowledge of requirement for Financial Reporting Standard, and costing method.
  • Experience in integrated real-time ERP system is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
