You will be reporting to the Engineering Manager. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust service orchestration and deployment solutions that ensure the reliability and performance of our systems.This is an onsite role based in First Avenue, Petaling Jaya.The Critical Tasks You Will PerformYou will build service orchestration pipelines to handle service creation, lifecycle management, and deprecation of Microservices across Grab's systems.You will define and implement Service definitions and standards, design robust and consistent orchestration flows to management the Service lifecycle.You will work with other stakeholders to integrate Service and deployment best practices into team workflows.You will be part of the platformization braintrust, contributing to best inter-platform communication practices by design robust API interactions.You will contribute to on-call rotations and post-incident analyses.What Essential Skills You Will NeedBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of Fullstack software engineering experience, with proficiency in backend (Go, Kotlin, Python, Java) and frontend (React, Angular) languages.Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS), with ability to debug and scale complex systems.Experience with CI/CD tools, Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform), and orchestration languages (e.g., Ansible).Familiarity with logging and monitoring frameworks (e.g., ELK stack, Datadog, Grafana, Splunk).Experience in Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).Life at GrabWe care about your well-being at Grab, here are some of the global benefits we offer:We have your back with Term Life Insurance and comprehensive Medical Insurance.With GrabFlex, create a benefits package that suits your needs and aspirations.Celebrate moments that matter in life with loved ones through Parental and Birthday leave, and give back to your communities through Love-all-Serve-all (LASA) volunteering leaveWe have a confidential Grabber Assistance Programme to guide and uplift you and your loved ones through life's challenges.Balancing personal commitments and life's demands are made easier with our FlexWork arrangements such as differentiated hoursWhat We Stand For at GrabWe are committed to building an inclusive and equitable workplace that enables diverse Grabbers to grow and perform at their best.
