Responsibilities

  • Manage Miscellaneous team and ensure policies & endorsements issued within the turnaround time.
  • Monitor team's accuracy of the policy and endorsement details captured according to Marketing instructions.
  • Manage weekly work state reporting on submission status.
  • Ensure team completes projects within the timeline.
  • Ensure compliance with all guidelines and regulations for policy and endorsement processing.
  • Assist section head in analysis of overall team performance, identifying trends, strengths, and areas for development.
  • Assist section head in strategic planning/FTE optimization in the team and drive the Kaizen Initiatives.
  • Reduce error rate by ensuring accuracy of policy and endorsement issuance and improve service standards for processing.
  • Lead or participate in projects to support strategic initiatives, ensuring completion within scope, time, and budget.
  • Compile reports timely and accurately.
  • Assist section head/HOD with any ad hoc requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or professional degree in any field. Preferably with insurance-related qualifications such as AMII, ACII, AII, and DMII. Minimum 8 years of experience in the insurance industry handling non-motor classes.
  • In-depth knowledge of operations in insurance related to commercial line classes is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Good planning, organizational, and influencing skills.
