About the Role
To support on wealth and high net worth strategies and deliver the end-to-end product and proposition development and implementation timely and efficiently.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Product Development and Launch Management: Ensure timely and efficient product launches and enhancements by thoroughly managing all aspects of the product development process. This includes preparing and documenting gate papers, product specifications, policy contracts, marketing materials, sales illustrations, training materials, and obtaining necessary approvals. Independently ensure the successful execution of product User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-launch reviews to meet the established timeline.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement throughout the product lifecycle.
- Reporting and Special Projects: Deliver comprehensive and timely reports on new products, enhancements, and campaigns, presenting findings in Product Development Committee Meetings. Take ownership of special projects as assigned, ensuring thorough analysis and detailed execution to support business needs.
- Training and Knowledge Transfer: Prepare and conduct training sessions on new products and enhancements for internal teams, ensuring materials are comprehensive and accurately reflect product features. Enable internal teams to effectively service clients by providing clear, well-documented resources.
- Sales Activation and Support: Collaborate with sales leadership to design and support initiatives that activate the salesforce. Address inquiries from distribution channels regarding product details, providing accurate and timely support to enhance sales effectiveness.
- Competitor and Market Analysis: Conduct detailed competitor and product analysis, providing critical insights to inform product strategy. Organize and facilitate product focus groups, gathering feedback from agency leaders and agents to improve products and ensure they meet market demands.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all product development activities adhere to the latest guidelines issued by BNM/LIAM and other regulatory bodies. Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance across all product initiatives.
- Product Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the product development process. Approach challenges with critical and thorough analysis, proposing actionable solutions that enhance product offerings and customer experience.
- Independent Contribution to Strategic Initiatives: Take ownership of key product development initiatives, utilizing independent critical thinking to address complex problems and drive results. Collaborate across teams without direct supervision, ensuring high-quality deliverables and a strategic approach to product development.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Education – Degree in Business Administration, Actuarial Science or Marketing.
- Experience – Preferably with minimum 6-8 years relevant working experience.
- Special skills – Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken), proficient in Microsoft Office applications, good presentation skill, possess good problem solving and analytical skills.
