# Our client is a sizable Retail Mall Co. located in Petaling Jaya #

The Head of Leasing/General Manager will oversee all aspects of the leasing function for the shopping mall, including leasing sales, tenancy administration, tenancy mix optimization & leasing strategy. This role ensures the mall is strategically positioned with a diverse and profitable mix of tenants while fostering strong relationships with tenants and achieving leasing targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive leasing strategy aligned with the mall's positioning and target market.
  2. Identify potential tenants, negotiate lease agreements, and ensure timely lease renewals.
  3. Optimize tenant mix to enhance customer experience and foot traffic.
  4. Collaborate with marketing to attract leading retail brands and emerging tenants.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential tenants, addressing concerns promptly.
  6. Conduct regular meetings with tenants to discuss performance, concerns, and opportunities.
  7. Research on retail trends, competitor malls, and customer preferences to inform leasing strategies.
  8. Monitor rental trends and adjust strategies accordingly, providing insights for rental pricing and lease terms.
  9. Develop and manage leasing budgets, revenue forecasts, and financial reports to meet rental income targets.
  10. Ensure leasing agreements comply with legal requirements.
  11. Lead the entire leasing & leasing admin teams and work closely with other departments.

Job Requirements:

  1. Degree in Business Admin, Real Estate, Marketing or related discipline.
  2. >5 years of experience in leasing management experience within Mall industry. Currently at HOD / GM level.
  3. Proven track record in driving revenue growth as well as in tenancy mix and occupancy rate improvement.
  4. Excellent leadership and negotiation skills.
  5. Permanent vacancy based in Petaling Jaya.
