Industrial Engineering Specialist – Drive Efficiency and Innovation at Celestica

Detailed Description

Perform tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  1. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to conduct time studies, balance production lines, and identify optimization opportunities.
  2. Analyze overall line capacity and optimize manpower and equipment requirements for efficient operations.
  3. Lead and manage improvement projects, focusing on Industrial Engineering solutions and lean methodologies.
  4. Contribute to New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and support IE-related activities through to mass production.
  5. Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Industrial Engineering or manufacturing operations.
  3. Proven track record of solving problems with innovative, cost-effective solutions.
  4. Demonstrated success in leading and executing improvement projects.
  5. Familiarity with AutoCAD and SAP is a plus.
  6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Applicants must be willing to work in Senai, Johor.
