Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Senior Automation Engineer to join our team at Alcon. As a key member of our Automation & Control Engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement complex automation projects
  • Contribute to software architecture design, development, and integration
  • Configure control software and maintain multiple environments

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement system support processes, manage third-party automation and control development teams, and adhere to Alcon's values and standards.

Requirements:
  • 8 years of experience for Diploma holders or 5 years for Degree holders
  • Strong understanding of SCADA (Allen Bradley) and integration with MES/ERP and/or equipment controls
  • Experience in industrial automation and control (PLC, HMI) and/or robotics and factory information systems (FIS, MES)
