Job Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical product structure (metal & plastic) to meet customer requirements, manufacturability, in-house assembly parts & site installation.

Perform documentation, generate/evaluate mechanical drawings and BOMs for existing products & new products.

Perform product failure analysis as well as identify and resolve the root cause of product problems.

Extend support to customers and all internal departments when required.

Provide continuous improvement for new & existing products.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.

  1. Good drafting and product design skills in 2D and 3D, e.g., Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc.
  2. Knowledge of tooling design, review with supplier about capability of manufacturing requirements.
  3. Self-motivated and good communication skills with all levels of staff, customers & suppliers.
  4. Strong technical background with a creative and innovative mindset.
  5. Proactive, good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Project management and leadership skills.

Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese.

At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
