Compensation & Benefits Manager

Position Summary
The Compensation and Benefits Manager is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing compensation & benefits plans and strategies ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness that attract, motivate, and retain talents as well as compliance with local regulations. This role also develops and maintains the compensation and benefits policies and oversees all other areas relating to remuneration and reward in the organization.
Working location: Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang (next to Setia Alam)
You will play an essential role to:
1) Compensation Management
- Design, propose, and implement effective compensation and benefits programs based on competitive industry and market practices.
- Review, analyze, develop, and implement pay structure and ensure competitiveness.
- Propose salary adjustment or new hires' compensation to ensure internal relativity and external competitiveness.
- Responsible for annual adjustments based on pay positioning, the local market, and in accordance with budget.
- Responsible for all incentive and bonus calculations according to the plans.
- Plan and analyze the C&B budget including adjustment, monitoring, and analyzing the variance.
- Supervise the team for timely and accurate payroll process and payment including statutory for the region, and meeting deadlines of necessary planned and ad hoc reports.
2) Benefits Management
- Oversees employee benefits programs, such as insurance plans, leaves, allowance, claims, and other related welfare.
- Manage medical insurance, participate in renewal and propose any adjustment.
3) Legal Compliance & Policy
- Ensure company policies to in line with local laws, pay attention to labor law updating to act proactively to avoid compliance issues especially related to payroll and other working regulations.
- Establishes Policies and Procedures as well as guidelines related to C&B function.
4) Surveys and Market Analysis
- Participate in an external remuneration survey.
- Develop compensation data analyses, interpret survey results, propose salary line and annual salary adjustments based on market compensation & benefits surveys.
- Benchmark benefits programs to ensure external competitiveness and market practices.
5) Other & Communication
- Delivery communication related to compensation and benefits to relevant parties.
- Lead C&B projects and make improvements to C&B area.
- Providing statistics, reports, and analysis on a regular basis as per request for local Business Partners and regional countries.
6) Any other assignments assigned by the Management and HR department.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree or Professional qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent
- At least 5-8 years working experiences in C&B role
