Our client is a diversified public listed company based in Johor, principally involved in the trading of information technology and information communication technology (IT and ICT) related products and services, property construction, property development, property investment, and moneylending businesses. Due to their business expansion, they are searching for a suitable HR Manager to join their team. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead and develop a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives and local labor laws.
  2. Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
  3. Manage employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs.
  4. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  5. Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance and support to managers and employees.
  6. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to employees.
  7. Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work culture.
  8. Manage employee benefits and compensation programs, including payroll administration.
  9. Stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations and ensure compliance.
  10. Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategic HR plans and initiatives.
  11. Lead and develop a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management.
  3. Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  6. High level of integrity and confidentiality.
