- Monitor or check the monthly salary computation and salary report generation.
- Liaise with government bodies on all statutory requirements and monthly payment submissions.
- Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward company goals.
- Administer overall human resources and employee benefits programs and welfare activities, which include Group Hospitalization Insurance Policy and preparation of HR & Administration Department correspondences, including Appointment Letter, Confirmation / Extension Letter, Transfer, Promotion, Termination & Acceptance of Resignation.
- Manage recruitment and assessment on placement and assist in conducting induction programs.
- Implement and manage all benefits and compensation matters.
- Administer employee personal records from time to time.
- Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
- Oversee the HR & Admin Department day-to-day operations and supervise subordinates.
- Handle IR matters and ad-hoc activities related to HRAD.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Advise top management on HR trends, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Implement retention strategies to reduce turnover.
- Develop and manage salary structures, bonuses, and allowance plans.
- Manage employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, workplace safety, and company policies.
- Oversee diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
- Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures.
- Utilize HR analytics to support decision-making.
- Ensure data protection and confidentiality.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee morale and engagement.
- Promote a positive work environment and employer branding.
- Undertake other special assignments and ad-hoc duties as required by superiors.
Requirement:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or any related qualification in the relevant field.
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in Human Resources & Administration or in a relevant field.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia. Candidates with Mandarin speaking will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent people management and interpersonal skills.
- Fast learner, proactive, self-driven, and self-motivated.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software systems, with knowledge of HR2000 system being an advantage.
- Well versed in current labor laws & Employment Act.
- Familiar with foreign workers application / renewal procedures.
- High integrity, passion, and results-oriented.
- A high level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, address multiple interruptions, and prioritize work.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
