Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesTechnology Strategy and Leadership
  1. Technology Innovation & Roadmap: Spearhead enterprise architecture design and integrations with bank and rail partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability for future growth.
  2. Industry Trends & Emerging Technologies: Monitor and incorporate market expectations and emerging technologies to sustain a competitive edge.
  3. Infrastructure Management: Maintain robust, scalable, and high-performing global payment processing systems.
  4. End-to-End Product Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to deployment, ensuring seamless integration of enhancements.
  5. Compliance and Cybersecurity
  6. Cybersecurity Protocols: Enforce industry-leading cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data and maintain operational resilience.
  7. Risk Management: Proactively address vulnerabilities and system threats through robust risk mitigation strategies.
  8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance across jurisdictions, including Singapore, Hong Kong, the UK, and Canada, with a focus on payments, KYC, and AML regulations.
Operational Excellence and Governance
  1. Vendor Governance: Manage a portfolio of technology vendors, ensuring solution quality, accountability, and integrity.
  2. Technology Budgeting: Optimize the technology budget for cost-efficiency and measurable ROI.
  3. Process Optimization: Streamline operational processes to enhance scalability and efficiency.
  4. IT Support Oversight: Ensure uptime and reliability through effective IT support management.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
  1. Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with executive leaders (CEO, COO, Risk, and Compliance) to align technology goals with business objectives.
  2. Team Development: Build and inspire high-performing technology teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  3. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Trading, and other teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Job RequirementsSkills and Expertise
  1. Payments Ecosystem: Extensive knowledge of bank and rail systems, payment gateways, processors, wallets, and settlement/reconciliation processes.
  2. Regulatory Frameworks: Expertise in PSD2, GDPR, PIPL, PCI DSS, AML, KYC, MAS (Singapore), HKMA (Hong Kong), FCA (UK), and FINTRAC (Canada).
  3. Data Analytics & AI/ML: Proficiency in predictive modeling and AI/ML for fraud detection, risk assessment, and customer behavior insights.
  4. Blockchain & Cryptocurrencies: Familiarity with blockchain technology and digital currencies, with an emphasis on secure payment innovations.
  5. Audit Expertise: Experience managing audits for ISO 27001, SOC 2, and other relevant standards.
  6. Strategic Partnerships: Proven track record of fostering partnerships with technology vendors and payment processors.
Qualifications and Certifications
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. 7–10 years of PMP, Scrum, and Agile experience (mandatory).
  3. Preferred certifications: CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF.
