Office Administrator (Payroll)

The ideal candidate will be in charge of the organization and efficiency of daily office operations. From managing administrative work to facilitating communication between departments, you will be responsible for completing multi-level tasks professionally and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the office and resolve any administrative related issues.
  • Handle general office administration duties including procurement and management of office and pantry supplies, maintenance of office equipment and fixed assets, and invoice processing.
  • Liaise with local authorities for licenses, permits, applications, and bill matters.
  • Provide administrative support to Chief Operating Officer, and other departments as needed.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and set up, refreshments, and cleanliness.
  • Manage office equipment maintenance, including furniture, telephone systems, copiers, and water dispensers.
  • Handle business travel and hotel arrangements for management and employees upon request.
  • Assist in payroll processing, including preparing payroll reports, and ensuring timely salary disbursements.
  • Assist with online and offline billing, as well as claim reimbursements.
  • Maintain office cleanliness.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in office administration or related roles.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, including EPF, SOCSO, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
  • Proficient in payroll software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong multitasking and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments or projects effectively.
  • Possessing general finance knowledge is an added advantage.
