Position

The Finance Manager will be responsible for oversight of all finance, accounting and reporting activities. The Finance Manager will lead all day-to-day finance operations and supervise the team member including functional responsibility over accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and grants administration.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
  2. Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and program budgets and actual expenditures.
  3. Periodically analyze and report manufacturing costs of all products to ensure correctness of transfer pricing.
  4. Coordinate both internal & external audits and work with auditors to facilitate the audit process and address any findings.
  5. Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; monitor progress and changes and keep management team abreast of INFICON Malaysia's financial status.
  6. Assist INFICON Malaysia's management team in the annual budgeting and planning process; administer and review all financial plans and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate.
  7. Assess risks associated with operations and implementing appropriate risk-mitigation strategies.
  8. Manage organizational cash flow forecasting by working in partnership with the management team members; continuously collaborate to assess the financial efficacy of operations and establish finance and administrative systems to support operations.
  9. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions.
  10. Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
  11. Active participation in continuous improvement process.
  12. Other tasks appointed by group controller & CFO.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Accounting; ACCA / CPA / MBA preferred.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance Manager role within manufacturing industry or sector.
  3. Solid experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and accounting for investments.
  4. Proficiency in Manufacturing Cost Accounting is essential.
  5. Experienced with MS Office and SAP FI/CO.
  6. Familiar with tax returns, including SST, and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
  7. Keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reporting.
  8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management, board or other outside partners.
  9. Ability and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers.
  10. Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin.

This position will be on 6 months contract.
