Finance Manager/ Senior Finance Manager - Finance Department

Responsibilities
  • Manage the cash flow and supervise over the financial transactions.
  • Co-ordinate and manage the preparation of the Group's annual financial budget.
  • Oversee the day-to-day job performance of the staff members.
  • Interact with financial staff and ensure the audit spreadsheets are maintained every month/year.
  • Provide solutions on risk management.
  • Oversee and manage the monthly/quarterly/annual Group reporting.
  • Monitor business performance by all companies through timely submission of monthly management accounts and commentaries on financial performance.
  • Manage and maintain Finance SOPs.
  • Serve as point of contact for the company's payment issues, financial processes, internal & external audit and tax issues.
  • Liaise with sales teams to ensure timely collection of revenue and reporting on debtor aging.
  • Responsible for budgeting and forecasting financials of projects undertaken.
  • Prepare presentation slides about group performance and present during meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements (e.g. SST, Corporate tax and other indirect taxes).
  • Provide audit requirements during interim and year-end financial audits.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly reporting to Bursa Malaysia, quarterly Board papers and annual audited financial statements.
  • Perform other accounting-related functions as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy and/or professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW) and be a member of MIA.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience; audit experience welcomed.
  • Experience in a public listed company is preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of MFRS and group consolidation matters.
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Meticulous, independent, and able to perform under tight deadlines.
